POSITION PURPOSE:
Be a fully independent software engineer and implement features end-to-end independently on FarmRise:
Deliver high end features working independently.
Maintain timelines for delivery of features.
Analyze system and product requirements to design optimal and scalable features.
Write comprehensive tests (unit, integration, automation) to improve quality.
Build your knowledge and contribute your ideas through interactive product design sessions, hackathons, and on-farm opportunities.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working independently on software engineering tasks and decomposing tasks into smaller work items for better project management.
Writing well-structured, easily maintainable, well-documented code.
Closely working with other functions like PM, UI/UX, Art, QA to deliver features that will impact the face of farming.
Working with pod leads to implement engineering architectures for the feature.
Taking a hands-on approach in the development of prototypes quickly.
Participate in design and code reviews to share knowledge, help each other learn new things and take pride in making our code better.
Follow engineering standard methodologies towards ensuring performance, reliability, and measurability.

WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor’s in computer science/engineering, IT, electronics or information science.
1-2 years of full stack software development experience.
Great debugging and reasoning skills.
Proven fundamental programming skills (algorithms, data structures, OOP, OS, Networking, AWS Cloud). Experience with source control management and giving code reviews.
Expert in troubleshooting most portions of a production software stack.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, engineering diagrams, and listening skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Good-to-have: Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, etc.)
Good-to-have: Experience in web and mobile frontend stack.
