We are looking for a talented Software Development Manager to lead the Shopping Aids team. Shopping Aids is a WW platform which serves as an assistant to bridge customer education and awareness gaps across the shopping experience. Shopping Aids mission is to guide and hand hold customers through different programs, features and customer journeys, just like a friend or family member does, whenever and wherever they want help. The platform is live in 18 marketplaces, with support for 10+ major page types including Gateway, Search, Detail Page and Thank You Page.
The position requires a strong technical background, customer obsession and solid people management skills to manage and develop a highly-talented and experienced engineering team. Solid hiring and new hire development skills are also critical. Strong judgment and communication skills, long-term technical vision, and continuous focus on engineering and operational excellence are essential for the success in this role. This role requires ownership, autonomy, and an ability to deliver results, often within the ambiguity of building and enhancing the platform. You will need to work efficiently to build the right things with limited guidance, and your experience will raise the bar to create an amazing experience for our customers. You will drive strategy technical decisions for the team, and you will be leading key projects from ideation all the way to deployment. You will be working closely with both technical and business leaders to fulfill your mission. Specifically, we’re looking for a technical leader to lead the team of 6-8 developers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
- 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
- Experience in partnering with product and program management teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
