We’re currently looking for an individual with HR, recruitment and/or company administration experience to join our growing team in India as an HR Executive. This position will work closely with our EVP, General Manager APAC, and the Global HR Team on activities related to the whole employment life-cycle.
About the Role
The post holder will be tasked with the coordination, planning, implementation, and monitoring of all Human Resource systems, policies, and procedures. They will be involved in and co-ordinate other Human Resources activities as necessary and support with creating and maintaining a high-performance work culture. Specifically, the post holder will:
Liaise with key stakeholders to understand all necessary aspects and needs of the HR function, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes, and achievements.
Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local, state, and national laws and company policies and standards.
Responsible for sourcing, first-level screening, and setting up interviews in coordination with other departments.
Responsible for effective usage of the internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for recording and updating different stages in the recruitment process.
Execute background checks, and support with the relevant onboarding and induction-related tasks.
Provides payroll information (by collecting time and attendance records), supports the preparation and processing responsibilities of payroll.
Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving HR issues.
Work with the Global HR team to raise issues related to employee relations, assisting in tracking employee relations issues including resolution and follow-up.
Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
Coordinate with other departments regarding the effective implementation of HR policies & procedures.
Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding HR and or company programs, policies, and guidelines.
Disseminate information to employees related to employer-employee relations, employee activities, and HR policies and programs.
Coordinate training and development activities.
Review and ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g. recruitment related documents, probation forms, performance forms and compliance).
Manage exit formalities as needed
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a HR and or recruitment team ideally in a similar role and enjoys the administrative back-office nature of the HR function. You demonstrate an ability to manage multiple requests and stakeholders simultaneously and a genuine desire to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. In addition, you will have:
Bachelor’s Degree (Must) / MBA or equivalent in a related field.
Good command of English, both written and verbal.
Good knowledge of recruitment, job portals, and social sites such as LinkedIn.
Experience in using HRIS and or an ATS system.
Underpinned knowledge of HR policies and Procedures.
Excellent listening, communication & interpersonal skills, positive attitude.
Able to develop and maintain working relationships with others.
Self-starter with a strong ability to work autonomously and to deadlines.
A strong understanding and appreciation of confidentiality.
Be curious about new trends, promoting an environment where ideas flow and expertise is shared.
Proficiency in all computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe.
Open to take-up new challenges.
Willing to work in mid-shift.
Immediate joiners are preferable.
